When I am...

...broken, I need a healer
...a prisoner to myself, I need to be set free
...confused, I go to the One who is all-knowing
...afraid, I will seek the all-powerful
...changing, I need a constant
...a failure, I require His mercy
...stuck in sin, His grace is a necessity
...feeling alone, I find the One who is ever-present
...self-loathing, I need unconditional love
...seeking withdrawal, He pursues me

While it's true that I can find some of these things by being in relationship with my husband, family, or friends, no one person can be all of these, not completely. Only God can.

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.
