I wrote a post not long ago about my insecurities related to my own self-image. About how I feel when I look in the mirror.
Yet, I am convinced, more now than ever, that God is with me in this struggle, even when it feels like he is absent or doesn't understand.
In just the last six weeks, I have come upon these verses, quotes and phrases:
So God created human beings in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;

What an awesome post Sybil. We all have insecurities that we deal with, sometimes I let mine get the best of me sometimes I don't. I pray everyday to be more like Christ so that I can be sure of my purpose and worth. I absolutely love Jen's quote about being made to reflect God's goodness and radiate his love.

That verse from Psalm 139 is one that I love to remember and sit with when I am feeling down. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Such a reassurance knowing that God created us with a purpose and a plan. :)
You are so right, with God EVERYTHING is intentional. That actually goes perfectly with my life motto of sorts and blog name. It's so easy for me to think that whatever crosses my path is out there to hurt me or harm me when in reality, it was placed in my life for a reason, a God-written reason at that! :) Thank you for all of those wonderful quotes and verses! They're incredibly encouraging.
