Day Three: Time to Go

We started our last day in Disneyland an hour earlier than the previous two. After a late night, getting up in the morning wasn't so easy. But, we knew it would be worth it to be in Disneyland when it was less crowded.

We spent just over three hours in the park Sunday morning, and got to ride some of our favorites. We were even able to ride some of them twice, in a row. One ride that was a big hit with all the kids was Autopia. What kid doesn't want a chance to drive, right?

We visited ToonTown, home to all the main Disney characters. O liked them, but only from a distance. The girls wanted to take a photo with every character we saw.

I loved the park on Sunday morning. The weather was beautiful. The crowds were few. And, despite a severe lack of sleep, everyone was in a good mood.

By noon, we had picked up some lunch and were headed home.

So, now that our vacation is over, how do I feel?

Do I feel relaxed, refreshed, or renewed? No. Is the stress over? Not yet. I will spend the next week being stressed about one or more of us coming down with some sort of illness (especially after what happened when we returned from Disneyland 2005).

But, despite my earlier reservations and remaining anxiety, I feel proud. Proud of O for how he handled, well....everything. Proud of the girls for accepting less attention and for trying new things themselves. Proud of myself for jumping into this vacation with both feet (sort of). And, proud of M for putting up with all the neuroses.

GOT A MUCH IMPROVED FAMILY PHOTO, INCLUDING MINNIE, ON DAY THREE

Need to catch up?

I love Disneyland- I surprised my husband on our honeymoon with 2 days at the park and we had a blast.

You all look so happy. I want to go on vacation now =)
